Jæja, það er þá bara að bíta í það súra!
Við Gunni gætum ekki verið óheppnari með veðrið en ég var að lesa á Visir.is að febrúarmánuður á Íslandi hafi verið sá heitasti í 40 ár - en í Parísinni hefur febrúarmánuðurinn hugsanelga ekki verið jafn kaldur í 40 ár. Hvers á maður að gjalda?
Við flúðum Íslandið góða útaf kulda en það er eins og að við höfum bara "tekið með okkur" kuldann hingað út og þá áreiðanlega svo við myndum ekki fá fráfallseinkenni. Ég gæti ekki verið meira óánægðari með þessa veður"blíðu" sem ég var búinn að búast við að fá í Parísinni.
Það væri ágætt ef veðurguðirnir færu að senda okkur, hérna á "Gobelins", örlitla sól og blíðu. Maður er kominn með nóg af kulda en "hann" er búinn að vera kaldur í sirka 3 mánuði.
Ég vona að hún Emma mín, sem kemur eftir 39 daga, komi með vorið til okkar. Þá verður maður loksins alsæll með tilveruna á "Avenue des Gobelins".

New Udates and Information

Well well, I have made some big updates to the blogger and there are now 6 new blogger-sites connected to "newsaddi". I have taken almost every subject that I had before on the sidebar and created bloggers instead. Now there are more info and more issues on each subject.

The first one is: Who is Addi?
This blogger is only for what Addi is doing and what he has to say about daily issues. There is a picture of Addi on the sidebar at the moment but there are going to be more info, such as a description of Addi.

The second one is: Communication | a new world
This one is going to be more connected to business, economy and Addis discussions about the market in whole. There are some media links and some communication(PR etc) links. There are also logos to each media that I have put on the sidebar. Read this blogger and keep informed.

The third one is: News | nouvelle frettir nyheter
This third blogger that I created is only for the latest news. There I put discussions about the news or only just the news as they come. I will try to update this site on the weekends but will once in a while put the latest news during the week. Read aswell this blogger and keep informed.

Seulement á francais

Mais c´est trés froid á Paris et je ne sais pas quand ca finira. Je me suis levé á huit heure ce matin pour apprendre le premier période de l´anglais. Je n´y suis pas arrivé en retard mais cette période était amusant, comme d´habitude. Une femme americaine que je connais bien, parce qu´elle apprends francais avec moi, s´appelle Maya. Elle et moi ont marché tous ensemble aprés le cours de francais á une autre maison de l´université ou elle travaille. Elle est trés trés drole et trés sincére. Toute la journée á l´école était bien.
Maintenent, je parle avec mon marie qui est charmant, amoureux, sincére, beau, le majeur et le meilleur homme du monde.
Maintenant, je pensé cette texte est sufficent pour le moment. Je crois que j´écrira plus, plus tard á francais bien sur.

Icelandic Euro-nation WINNER

Well the Icelandic public have voted
the "Eurovision song 2006" which will participate in the Eurovision songcontest in Athens in Mai.

Silvía Nótt or as one would call her in english:
Silvia Night is the WINNER.

She got about 70 000 votes where as the total number of voters were about 100 000 (1/3 of the Icelandic population). The competion went well, but 15 song were in the competion and all made a fantasic show and will live long amongst the Icelandic Euro-fans.
Thomas Lundin, an eurovision fan from Finland, came to hear and see the Icelandic show and made a fantastic input, with Pall Oskar (participated in 1996 in Ireland) during the show. Some other great euro-stars came: The Bobbysocks, two beautiful girls from Norway who won the Eurovision Songcontest in 1985, made a life preformance and sang the original eurovision-song "la det svinge"(rock and roll). A great competition! So we just look forward to see how it will go in Athens in Mai.

Well, I have been studying the html-codes for the first time and it doesn´t seem very difficult as it looks like. And much fun! I edit some new categories and some colors to the links, so right now the links are blue and more "attractive" to those that are reading these typed words.
And some of the changes are the "news" links - I also have a "latest news"-corner so that some of you can be updated about what is goin on in the world.
I hope you like the changes but I haven´t figured it out how to change the column "about me" in the pink area. I have to ask Blogger.com how I can change it to a different color, that matches the blue, without deleting all that I have done.
If some of you know how to change the pink-column send me a comment pls.

Sýkingar í fuglum

Nú er komið að því að hætta borða allt sem flokkast undir fuglakjöt. Þó það hafi ekki verið neinar varúðar-fréttir um smit fugla hérna í Frakklandi og þó að læknar segja það sé frekar erfitt að smitast af fuglaflensu, eins og staðan er í dag, höfum við Gunni þó tekið ákvörðun að hafa varan á og sleppa fuglakjöti í kotinu á Avenue des Gobelins.

Valentínusardagurinn

Það var vaknað frekar seint og þá ekki a siðlegum tíma. En það var bara allt í lagi. Við Gunni vorum lengi að koma okkur úr náttfötunum en sátum lengi yfir góðum vindlum og góðu kaffi og spjölluðum um fréttir dagsinns. "Valentínusar-morgun-áætlunin" mín stóðst ekki alveg en Gunni fékk þó mjúkan og ástríkan koss þegar hann vaknaði. Það er svo yndislegt að vera til í dag og ef allur heimurinn væri eins og í kotinu hjá okkur Gunna væri hann án haturs og neikvæðni og uppfylltur af ást og jákvæðni. Það er svo gott að hugsa svona og það var það sem var efst í huga mér er ég vaknaði.

Það er nú svolítið gott að vera í fríi svona í miðri viku en ég er í nú í þriggja daga fríi sem kallast bara "short-brake" á enskri tungu. Gunni er einnig í fríi en það er langt vetrar frí hjá frökkum og endar á mánudaginn næsta.

Spjallið hjá okkur Gunna hélt áfram og kaffið var að klárast. Við ákváðum að fara í ræktina til að "hneykslast" og "módelast". Það var hætt að rigna og aðeins heitara en í gær svo við fórum á línuskautunum niður að "Club Med Royal" ræktinni. Sú rækt er eiginlega stórskemmtileg, full af drottningar-hommum og homma-hækjum (stelpur sem sækjast í félagskap homma) og þess vegna höfum við, báðir, einstaklega gaman af því að hlægja innra með okkur, jafnvel upphátt, að þessum "drottningum Royal ræktarinnar" sem halda að "þær" séu staddar í heims fegurðarsamkeppni. Það er tildæmis "ein" sem er búin að strekkja á sér andlitið svo mikið að "hún" er eins og ófreskja í framan og nú skulum við ekki nefna líkamann á henni eða honum eða því. En greyið, henni finnst hún vera svo "Royal" svo hún er afsökuð.
Eftir allt "cat-walkið" fórum við á Chez Hanna eða til "Hjá Hönnu" en eldhúsið hjá henni var opið í kvöld og komust að því að það er alltaf lokað á mánudögum. Við Gunni settumst niður á línuskautunum, alsælir og endurnærðir, pöntuðum það vanalega og að okkar mati það besta sem eldhús Hönnu býður upp á: "Fatafel Special" (og köllum það fatafelluna). Við vorum ágætlega saddir og ánægðir með hana Hönnu og gáfum gott þjórfé. Við vorum enn óákveðnir með "ástar-kvöldið" svo við byrjuðum að "lína" um þröngar og rómantískar götur Parísarborgar og skoðuðum bóhemíska stílinn sem einkennir borgina og létum drauma okkar flæða um eigin íbúð nálægt Signu bakka.
Eftir verulega rómantískar stundir um götur latínu hverfis, homma hverfis og gyðinga hverfis, settumst við á bar/kaffihús með Signu í augsýn og fengum okkur sitthvorn bjórinn og vindil áður ákveðið var að lína heim í jákvæða kotið okkar á "Avenue Gobelins".
Gott er að vera ástfanginn.

Þá er loksins orðið sæmilega "heitt" hérna eða kalt - það fer eftir hvernig maður lítur á málið. Við Gunni erum búnir að hafa það verulega gott þó að að strákarnir eru ekki hjá okkur. Það er nú frekar tómlegt í kotinu en það verður orðið fjör á sunnudaginn næstkomandi. Við fegnum nokkrar fréttir af þeim, bræðrum, en Þorsteinn keppti í fótbolta og liðið hans, KR, vann. Nonni keppti í fimleikum og fékk silvur á slá. Það verður gaman að fá að fá þá aftur.
En við höfum nýtt tímann okkar verulega vel og gert sitthvað af því sem maður gerir þegar maður er barnlaus; sofa aðeins frameftir, fara í ræktina, fara út að borða, fara í línuskauta-rallíið "Paris-roller", koma seint heim eftir að hafa verið á labbinu niður í miðbæ - svona sitt lítið af öllu.

Kvöldið í kvöld var voðalega notalegt en við vöknuðum á siðlegum tíma, að okkar mati, og vorum lengi að ákveða hvert og hvað skildi gera með daginn, yfir nokkrum kaffibollum. Þó að við vorum frekar latir ákváðum við að fara í ræktina niður í miðbæ og á "Club Med Royal". Við erum vanir að fara á "Club Med Montparnasse" en vildum fá smá tilbreytingu frá vananum. Það eru um það bil 10 "Club Med" stöðvar í Parísinni svo það eru um margar að velja en "Royal"-stöðin er við Louvre og í miðju fjörinu.
Það var mjög gott að lyfta aðeins, hneykslast á hinu "módel-liðinu", hnykkla vöðvana og fá stutta slökun í saununni. Við urðum svaka frískir og endurnærðir eftir þessa hreyfingu og "hneyksl" en svo ákváðum við að fara á veitingarstaðinn "Chez Hanna" (hjá Hönnu) sem er ódýr og svakalega góður veitingarstaður í "gyðinga-homma" hverfinu. Þegar þangað var komið, sár svangir, var lokað hjá henni Hönnu okkar - týpískt! en það var þá bara rölt inn á veitingarstaðinn "Marronier", sem er ekki svo langt frá "Chez Hanna", og fengið sér salat að hætti frakka; með ostum, skinku, heimatilbúinni salatsósu, gott, niðurskorið, baguette og einnig eitt glas af bordeux. Eftir það var svo farið heim að hlusta á fréttirnar og spjallað um allt milli himins og jarðar, þar á meðal það sem er að gerast í Danaveldi, "hjónaband" homma, nýjustu fréttir af Samfylkingunni og Degi B. Eggertsyni, samgöngumálum í Reykjavík ofl.

Á morgun er svo dagur St. Valentínusar en hann er haldinn hátíðlega hérna í frakklandinu. Það verður áreiðanlega yndislegt hjá okkur Gunna og verulega rómantískt. En maður verður nátturlega að vera með og gera daginn góðan í borg ástarinnar.
Ég mun gera eitthvað fyrir hann Gunna minn og byrja kannski á því að gefa honum koss, svo rauða rós og kort, með ástarljóði, en kannski maður ætti að gera eins og sumir Parísarbúar; senda ástar-skilaboð, ætlað ástinni sinni, á þá sem sjá um upplýsingaskiltin í borginni. Það er fjöldi af skiltum hérna, sem gefa upplýsingar um umferðina, leikhúsferðir, bíó, uppkomur og annað menningarlegt. Það er sem sagt hægt að senda nokkur orð ástarinnar og fá þau birt. Þetta ætti þá að vera eins og þegar maður fær á tilfinningunni að helst vilja fara uppá hæsta tind veraldar og kalla; "ég elska þig".

En það kemur í ljós hvað ég geri - en eitt sem ég geri, eins og alltaf, en það er bara að vera rómantískur.

Concours Eurovision de la chanson et Silvía Nótt

Jæja, þá er búið að ákveða að hún Silvía Nótt fái að taka þátt í lokakeppni ísl-evróvísíón sem fer fram á svaka flottu sviði í lok febrúar...
Þetta lag sem hún söng svona frábærlega er það lag sem ég myndi helst vilja sjá í Aþenu þann 18 maí og svo einnig í lokakeppni Eurovision Songcontest þann 20 maí.

Nous sommes trés conant avec Silvia Nótt á Avenue des Gobelins est elle gagne lá competition de Eurovision á Gréce, c´est trés sur!
C´est la premier fete chez nous et on faitait une grand fete de vingt-deux Mai.
Cette date est encore une date qui je prands mon diploma AUP.

Nonni og Þorsteinn fara í víking

Jú það er þannig að Nonni og þorsteinn fóru í dag til Íslands. A chez nous étéions pas mikið líf. En við gerum eitthvað uppbyggilegt og verðum reyndar í miklu - námi og vinnu...þeir bræðurnir verða bara í tvær vikur svo við verðum ekki fyrir miklum skaða...
Við ætlum að bjóða Siggunni okkar i mat - eurovision diner - í kvöld og hafa gaman að því að gagnrýna þá sem stíga á svið...Det kommer att bli kul att se Silvia Nótt sjunga och se Birgitta Haukdal med...Vi ses senare!

Ég held að ég hafi bara fundið uppáhaldslagið mitt...en það er kannski ekki hægt að segja hvað það er, fyrst hún hefur ekki enn stigið á svið...hún er bara æðisleg, flott og verulega töff stelpa og á eftir að vinna þetta euro-nation...
Endilega segið mér hvort þið viljið hana á sviði í Aþenu þann 20 Mai...að minnsta kosti vil ég það! Þorvaldur er frábær lagasmiður...

My sister Emilia is coming to Paris

I had to tell you that my sister, Emília, and her daughter, Gudrun junior, are coming to visit me on the 12th April and are going to be here for almost five days. It´s going to be great and there are alot of things to show her. I will probably not show her the tourist attractions around here but she has visited them before, so I´ll be showing her the places that we go to. Gunnar, Nonni and Þorsteinn will be in Iceland at the time when Emilia arrives because of Nonni is getting his confirmation on the 16th of April in Iceland. I´ll be alone for some time, which is ok. I´ll just be studying hard, eating french cheese, jampon crue et baguette the whole time. Great ah!

At home and having the french flue

I slept and slept today trying to get the flue out of my system. Why isn´t it warm in Paris? I fled Iceland to get a bit warmer and all I get is "a cold Paris". The weather in Reykajvik is + 5C and is getting warmer every day. In Paris it´s - 1C to -2C .
Any way I am sitting here in my pyjamas in my living-room and thinking of a way to get better.

Here is a picture of Gunnar in Venice. He is so beautiful, isn´t he? Nonni, Þorsteinn, Gunnar and me drove to Croatia last year but we had to stop in Italie for one day because it was to much to drive to Croatia in only one day. We slept in Venice over a night and then drove south to a croatian island...a very romantic island and so beautiful.

Á myndinni til vinstri sjáið þið breiðgötuna "Avenue des Gobelins" en þar var eitt sinn teppaverksmiðja sem hét einmitt "Gobelins" og gatan hefur borið nafn fyrirtækisinns alla tíð síðan. Myndin sýnir einnig leiðina að Place d´Italie torginu, þar er stór matvöruverslun sem við gerum matarinnkaupin. Svo á myndinni til hægri, hér að neðan, sjáið þið íbúðina okkar en hún er á 1. hæð og er fyrir ofan "grænu" búðina. Það hefur verið voðalega gott að búa þarna en við erum með þessa íbúð í eitt ár eða til endaðan júní. Gatan er sérstaklega fallegt á vorin, sumrin

og byrjun hausts en þá sést varla í húsin fyrir trjám, þó að þau sjást varla á þessum vetrar myndum. Mjög rómantísk gata.

Á síðustu myndinni, hér að neðan, er Avenue des Gobelins í hina áttina. Ef farið er þessa leið endar maður á mjög frægri verslunargötu - Mouffetard götunni. Hún er aðalega fræg fyrir útimarkaði. Þar kaupum við osta, skinkur, kæfur og baguettin okkar þegar við viljum fá eitthvað verulega franskt eða beint frá frönsku sveitinni. En þessa leið förum við líka alltaf ef við förum á línuskautum niður að Notredam kirkjunni eða niður að Signubökkum. Sú leið tekur bara 15 mín.

Hi, We at Ave. Gobelins woke up pretty late today - but it´s Sunday, so it´s ok!
We are planning to go see the new movie by Ang Lee; Brokeback Mountain. But before, we have to eat and we aren´t very active at the moment so we are planning to go to McDonalds and grap some not so tasteful hamburgers. We haven´t eaten there for a while so Nonni and Þorsteinn are looking very much forward to eat there - they have been eating Icelandic "þorskur"(cabillaud á Francais) three times a week since they arrived from Iceland this x-mas so eating at Maci-dacki-donalds is quiet cool.

Yesterday we had some great visitors, Albert and Solla, came to visit us and ate some french delicates or gourmant! They are staying in Paris untill Wednesday. "Our Sigga" came as well and we had a fantastic time.

Mais alors, maintenent nous allons trés faim - abientot mon chéries.

Yes my friends,

Finally I´m able to write some poetic words or just the daily happenings on the blogger.
I am not going to tell you all about what have been happening since I last put some words on the web, but I am doing great and there are some great times to come...
I celebrated my xx years on this earth on the 26 of January and had a fantastic day. The kids and Gunnar had cuisined a great dinner for me and I didn´t had to do anything accept studying, which was great!
We had invited Sigga, our great icelandic friend who is studying french at sorbonne, to dinner.
A great day to remember. My second birthday in Paris.

I do think,though, that I have to tell you that I have gone through some great times since September 2005. I started my first year at The American university of Paris in September 2005 and had a terrific start. But the first issue that I had to get accustomed to is the "parenthood" but I didn´t have great problems but there are always some that you have to deal with for sure! Today everything is going as planned before hand.
Secondly I had to get accustomed to the American University system and their way of doing and their way of thinking. I started to study an intensive english writing, grammar, linguistics and the culture of the english speaking world as well as divers cultures. The third is the club that I founded or started at AUP, the Gay Straight Alliance, "G.S alliance". There have been students that have tried to start a Gay club at the univ. but hasn´gone as planned. I have had some difficulties with the club BUT I am grown up to "not giving up", as most Icelanders are accustomed to.
I found my freshman semester great and I think that I will be doing greater further as time will pass.

For the time being I am studying more interesting curses - Philosophy, New Economy and Media, French, Math, The internet, English writing...all together it´s 19 credits and far more than the average - an icelandic way of doing things, right?
A great man, I know, told me that it´s not enough doing 100% - do 110%! Always do a bit more than you are capable of.

Turning to another issue. Svana! thank you for the greatings on my birthday and do hope you and Niels are not going to have any problems moving to your new place in Kopavogur on the 6th of February , a great city that is known for it´s horrible roads. My parents are partly grown up there and I worked for the "bæjarvinnu Kópavogs" so I can make some comic statements about the "city", or not! The city is great and has alot of history - just go to the "tourist information center" in Austurstræti, Reykajvik, and they will give you some information...at least you can be in contact with Svana and she´ll show you around. She is great and very friendly and has an understanding in divers cultures - So be in contact with her; She´ll love to meet you (Kópavogur is in the suburbs of Reykjavik; takes only 10 minutes driving from down town Reykjavik. Every tourist drive through Kópavogur, arriving from the international airport in Keflavik: and has the biggest mal in Iceland; Smáralind.)

Have to stop here! BUT I´ll update my blogger and "give" you some of my thoughts.

In Paris

Hi hi,
I am sitting in front of the computer and talking to Sigga, who´ll arrive to GCD on Monday, on the Skype.
I arrived three weeks ago, but Gunnar, Nonni and Þorsteinn have been here for two weeks. The kids have started their french school, Sevigne, and are doing great. They have learned about 200 words and just being here for two weeks. They are so great and so wonderful. Furthermore it´s so great to be here with them. To not forgetting my loved one, Gunnar, he´s been so wonderful and we´re so happy with everything that we´ve done here.
We´re moving at the moment to another place, next to the Kids school and not far from the center. The new place is next to Mofftard, one of the most known markets in Paris. Couldn´t be better. Sigga will stay at our place at Rue Barrault and we are going to the best time at both places, just about 10 minutes between us.

Talking about AUP, the Univ. that a I´m at, is going swell and there are so many great people there. The Univ. is so great!

Moreover, the weather is the greatest. Sunny and warm.

relaxing...wondering!

Listening to a relaxing music while writing! ...
I´m not sure what to write, but sitting down and listen to this music makes the problems and the rush-hours today just disapear.
Empty the mind and just be: To be or not to be?... here I am getting in a conversation wich can lead to a 1000 page discussion about the reality, the long path we all walk on and thinking of: why we are here?
But I´m not getting in to that philosophy right now I´m affraid. Not at this hour!

Þorsteinn is sleeping. He is so good and understanding...just like his father, Gunnar.
He has to wake up about six o´clock and has to be at the playground about seven...competing against BI (Bolungarvik-Isafjordur football team) and he said that his team will win them so the day tomorrow will turn out well for him. He tld me that this morning his team lost 4 to 1 but hasn´t lost the spirit! which is realy good...I so want to see his team win this game tomorrow...
He is the best...

...o my god! This day... I am getting so tired of costumers...
The day was so busy and still is right now....just set down with a sigarett and beer to relax a bit...10 minutes rest!
At work I couldn´t rest at all because there are so many who are take their summer vaccation so I didn´t stop untill about six thirty and then I had to rush home to prepare one of the guestrooms, one of the studios. After that I was supposed to help my father beacuse his company is moving to another place....he stopped about seven o´clock this evening so I will help him tomorrow instead, waking up very early.
The guest, who were supposed to be in the guesthouse didn´t show up so the room is free to night.

enough of this, I went rollerskating from work and had to stop at "ATVR", which is one of the alcoholic stores owned by the state (don´t know the word for it) and bought six beers but met my best friend there who works there: She, Svanborg, is working there beside taking her master in "Lífefnafræði"...don´t know the word in english, not just yet! have to call her later :)

Þorsteinn competed this morning and had him self a busy day but he came home and we went to by a pizza and are going to wach tv, while eating the pizza... or work on the computer for a while.
He has to wake up very early tomorrow, about six o´clock, to be at the football play...

Have to rush and will write you some more later this evening...

...Sitting infront of the computer after a busy day! working untill half past seven and went to my mother inlaw and helped here cleaning her apertment and then make dinner and taking care of the gusethouse...mmmmhhh! a tipical day and but though it´s hard sometimes it´s so nice and infact makes you alife in some way!?!?
Þorsteinn has to wake up early tomorrow for the competion. He will be away all day and trying to beet the other teams...wixhing him good luck...he´s a great footballer so I don´t think he´ll be having problems....he is asleep now and gaining straigth!

Gunnar called me this evening after a busy day him self. The weather was great on the highlands and the french tourists had a day to remember...a lot of photo stops!
He is though counting the days...missing me and the kids alot. Me and Þorsteinn are going to give him a great dinner - no fish! but realy good meat. I think that we are going to make a barbeque if the weather is going to be great but if not we´ll cook inside...
God I am tired! I have to go to sleep and I´ll write you more tomorrow darlings...

...There are so many things that goes through my mind when I are doing nothing! When I say; Nothing I mean; doing nothing phisical! - like last weekend, me and Gunnar did a total makeover in our litle garden...very heavy lifting and so not "gayish"...
I set down in our new garden, enjoyed the sun, while writing my goals on the computer. Its so good to set your goals and doing it so you can be flexible with time...I found out that there are so few goals but big ones, that I have to reach. I have always done this and am always changing them, but to a minimum, so I can have an overwiew and solid plans. I didn´t know why I did this but it in some way felt very good to write them down. It wasn´t untill I was introduced to Aiexec by Svanborg, that I learned about the backround and why it is good to have your goals in written words and learned alot there about having your professional goals in place without forgetting your personal goals in life...the family life!
I don´t know were I am going with this but I write as I think so that you can begin read my mind from this blogger...Do you write your goals down?

The things that I did today were getting all the e-mails in order and tryed to send some to my school and looking for wedding-sites...I am always trying to find a good site were you can download some good and affective and not too stright weeding-planning. And I assisted Þorsteinn with the things that he were doing before he went to a football-training at half past eight...I gave him fish and salad for dinner but we do not like the smell of fish and the taste but we liked this one very much...the cook of the house makes a very fine chef...five star chef!
And there is the guesthouse! I cleaned one of the studios yesterday but had to clean some glasses dishes and fill the fridge for the next guest today...

I found some wedding-sites that are somewhat different but are not likely to fit in our scedual and wedding plans...
Me and Gunnar found the colors for the wedding, or in fact Bjarney, found it! Red, blue and white...the colors in the Icelandic flag and the French. We wanted to have a mixed cultural wedding; Ice-french wedding. So far we haven´t made any other plans! But we have a very good "planner" beside us, actual there is 3 planners...Svanborg, Sigga and Elsa who are going to make it happen next year. The 14 and the 15 of July...we have alot time so we are making up a plan when there is spear time...

About leaving for France? we are hopefully going to spend christmas and summer in Iceland so that we can work...it´s hard to get some job in Paris for a short time but we´ll in the near future spend the christmas in Paris and find out how the French ones spend their x-mas...will be very nice mixing the icelandic and french x-mas - we´ll see what we´ll do!

I have so many other things to say but I´ll have to stop now and write you some more tomorrow...

One sunny day in Reykjavik...

To day is a great day! the sun is shining on those who live in Reykjavik, but I´m not sure about the rest of the country!!!
I am sitting here infront of my computer, in side and surfing on the net, trying to get information about the american university in paris; books and some scedules...It isn´t there I think! but I´ll try anyhow!
I was thinking that I have to work on the logo for the guesthouse so that it will be easier to send ads to the newspapers and to the web...Gunnar asked me if I could think of some logo, the other day and I didn´t start untill last Saturday! I am doing fine with it so I don´t think that I´ll be having problems....
But anyway!
Telling you litle about what´s going on...Gunnar is guiding french tourists around the country in an econoline, a Ford one! It fits him very nice to be driving a big car like that! But I think he will not be buying one very soon...he left on Sunday and will be in the wilderness untill Sunday the 24 of July. Sigga, our friend, went on a similar trip but in her trip there will be more hiking and sleeping in tents...Gunnar does not like that so he askes Sigga if she could take the trip! She gladly took it and will arrive 3 or 4 days after the 24.
Edda, Gunnars, mother of Gunnars children, went to Isafjordur last week and will arrive on Friday...but Þorsteinn, the older son, he didn´t go with here because he´ll be competing in football starting tomorrow. This is a five days international football competition in Laugardalur he will be competing all days. So there is just me and him in Reykjavik...it´s fantastic!
Þorsteinn, Nonni, the young one, Gunnar and me will be leaving Iceland between the 22-27 of August...the days just fly by! It´s about 30 days before we leave...and there are so much things to do before we leave...we´ll make it fine...we can´t wait
